【編集部記事】英The Independent紙によると、元英Penguin社の編集者と米Nebraska-Lincoln大学の准教授が、5年間行なってきた過去のベストセラー作品の分析結果を電子書籍として発売したとのこと。
発売されたのは電子書籍「The Bestseller Code: Anatomy of the Blockbuster Novel」（Jodie Archer／Matthew Jockers）で、2人は5年かけて過去30年間にベストセラー入りした2万作品をパターン分析。著者チームは「bestseller-ometer」という判定アルゴリズムを提唱しており、確率論的な観点から、読者に作品に読み進んでもらうために欠かせない重要要素をリストアップしているとのこと。【hon.jp】
